For the meal marking the 50th anniversary of the Trust, there was no more appropriate venue than the Function Room at Bath Green Park Station.
Amongst the guests were former S&D staff and the Mayor of Bath, Cllr. William Sandry, who all enjoyed a three-course meal before listening to the after-dinner speaker, author Paul Atterbury.
Both the Mayor and the S&DRT Chairman, Godfrey Baker, spoke and Godfrey quoted a former staff member who had been concerned that once he and his colleagues were gone, their story would be forgotten. Godfrey had been able to assure him that as long as the Trust existed, that would not happen.
