Description

BR-built Ivatt 2MT class 2-6-2T locomotive No. 41290 (built 1951, withdrawn March 1966 from 83G Templecombe shed, where allocated from July 1965) stands at the up platform of Glastonbury & Street station with the 5.00pm Evercreech to Highbridge passenger train, down train and island platform to left, signal box to right. Photo taken on Monday 11 October 1965 at 5.30 pm.
