Description

Fowler S&D 7F No. 53806 (built 1925 as S&D No. 86, with 82F Bath Green Park shedplate)  is seen on what is probably a through service heading down-gradient under Maple Grove Bridge with Devonshire Tunnel just out of sight in the background. The photo was taken in 1961.

Seven carriages can be seen though there are probably more.

53806 is shown as already allocated to Bath Green Park at the time of nationalisation in 1948 and remaining there until withdrawal in January 1964.
