BR Standard Class 5 No. 73047 (built 1953) – with 82F shedplate – passes Bailey Gate Crossing signal box with a 4-carriage Up service in bright sunshine in 1961.

Bailey Gate Crossing was situated on the A31 a short way west of Corfe Mullen Junction and crossing.

Allocation reports vary for 73047 but the loco is shown as being withdrawn in 1964.
