Description

Fowler 4F Class No. 44417 (built 1927, with 82G Templecombe shedplate) is seen drawing out of a siding onto the Down main line (probably with a goods service) while Bulleid West Country Class No. 34041 Wilton (built 1946) approaches the station with a passenger service, almost certainly a through service. No date is currently available for this image.

44417 is shown as already allocated to Templecombe at nationalisation in 1948 and remaining there until withdrawn in November 1962. 34041 is shown as allocated to Bath Green Park from May to June 1951 and again from late 1951 until late 1954. Allocated to Bournemouth from 1956 to 1964 and withdrawn in 1966.
