Description

BR Standard Class 5 No. 73051 (built 1954, with 82F Bath Green Park shedplate) starts the Up (northbound) Pines Express out of Blandford station, up the 1 in 80 to Milldown. 21 December 1960. The footbridge – which remains today – at the north end of the station is just visible.

73051 is shown as allocated to Bath Green Park from new until withdrawal in December 1965.
