At Bournemouth West, Ivatt 2MT Class No. 41243 (built 1949) waits at the platform while Bulleid West Country Class No. 34102 Lapford (built 1950) draws in with the Pines Express, complete with headboard. 34102’s 71B (Bournemouth) shedplate can just be made out in the high res. image. A reporting code disc showing 399 is being displayed. No date currently available for this photo.

41243 is shown as allocated to Bath Green Park from new and then to Templecombe from July/August 1962 until withdrawal in July 1965. 34102 was allocated to Bournemouth from 1958 to 1964 and was withdrawn in 1967.
