Description

On a dull day with some snow on the ground, Stanier 5MT Class No. 44814 (built Derby 1944, with 21A Saltley shedplate) sits at the platform at Bournemouth West with at least two carriages behind. A member of staff appears to be on the coal bunker while the engine blows off.

44814 is shown as allocated to 21A Saltley from 1950 until recoded in September 1963.
