Description

Hawksworth Modified Hall No. 6999 Capel Dewi Hall heads a west-bound passenger service into Bruton station. This negative is adjacent to an S&D image dated to 1964 so this service is probably the Ian Allan Great Western High Speed Railtour on 9 May 1964. 6999 (allocated to Westbury at the time) had replaced the booked locomotive which had failed at Westbury.
