Bulleid West Country Class No. 34080 74 Squadron (built 1948, with 72A Exmouth Junction shedplate) has just emerged from Buckhorn Weston Tunnel with a passenger service. The headcode discs indicate an Exeter/Plymouth to Waterloo service. Photo taken in 1963.

Note the change in gradient east of the tunnel.

34080 is shown as allocated to 72A Exmouth Junction from January 1958, recoded to 83D in September 1963 and withdrawn in September 1964.
