BR Standard Class 4 No. 75009 (built 1951) and BR Standard Class 9F No. 92233 (built 1958) with a through passenger service of at least 12 carriages at Cannard’s Grave cutting. There is currently no date available for this image but the loco allocations make it clear that this is summer 1962; through services last ran over the S&D on 8 September 1962.

75009 is shown as allocated to Templecombe in September/October 1961 until November 1962 and 92233 is shown as allocated to Bath Green Park from June/July 1962 until the following September/October.
