Description

Fowler 2P Class No. 40634 (built 1928, with 82G Templecombe shedplate) piloting Fowler 4F Class No. 44422 (built 1927) on a Cleethorpes-Exmouth service for which the reporting code of 1O92 is being shown. They have just passed a Home signal near Chilcompton.

40634 is shown as already allocated to Templecombe upon nationalisation in 1948 and remaining there until withdrawal in May 1962. 44422 is shown as allocated to Templecombe from November/December 1960 until November 1964.
