Description

Fowler S&D 7F No. 53807 (built 1925 as S&D No. 87) heads a three-coach Up (Bath-bound) local passenger service into the Chilcompton Tunnels in 1962.

A temporary speed limit sign can be seen; this is also visible in WSHSD_2022_14_383 and WSHSD_2022_14_393 and it is possible that all three photos were taken on the same day.
