Description

Great Western Collett 2251 Class No. 3206 (built 1946, with 82G Templecombe shedplate) has just left Cole with a two-carriage + van Up passenger service, almost certainly a Templecombe-Highbridge service. It’s passing over Bridge 117 (bridge plate visible in photo) and immediately behind is Bridge 118 which passed over the Great Western main line.

3206 is shown as allocated to Templecombe from mid-1962 until withdrawal at the end of 1963. This therefore provides the date range for the photo.
