Description

Fowler S&D 7F No. 53807 (built 1925 as S&D No. 87) hauls a passenger service of eight carriages towards Cole station. The loco is passing over Bridge 117 and immediately ahead is Bridge 118 which passed over the Great Western main line – a person can be seen sat on one end of this – followed by Bridge 119, Cole viaduct.

A reporting number of M [digit obscured] 23 is being displayed.

53807 is shown as already allocated to Bath Green Park at the time of nationalisation in 1948 and remaining there until withdrawal in September 1964.
