Description

Fowler S&D 7F No. 53810 (built 1925 as S&D No. 90) heads a Down goods service near Cole in September 1963. The train is approaching the Wyke Lane (No. 117) and Great Western Line (No. 118) underbridges. The Cole Down Distant signal (which is ‘on’, or at caution) is just behind the rear of the train.

53810 is shown as already allocated to Bath Green Park at the time of nationalisation in 1948 and remaining there until withdrawal in late 1963.
