Description

BR Standard Class 5 No. 73050 (built 1954, with 82F Bath Green Park shedplate) heads an 11-carriage Up passenger service (almost certainly a through service) away from Cole station, passing over Cole viaduct. Sunny Hill School can be seen in the distance. No date is given for this image but it is likely to be 1962 or earlier, based upon allocations and the fact that through services were diverted in September 1962.

75071 is shown as being allocated to Bath Green Park from mid-1956 and to Templecombe from November 1962. Withdrawn in August 1967.
