Description

BR Standard Class 5 No. 73051 (built 1954) is seen on the Up Pines Express through service from Bournemouth to Manchester passing through Cole in 1960. The train has at least eight carriages, the rear of the train being obscured by the road bridge.

73051 is shown as allocated to Bath Green Park from new until withdrawal in August 1965 and accordingly is carrying an 82F shedplate.

Note the sleepers piled up to the left and the signal box with windows open.
