Description

In very dull weather, BR Standard Class 4 No. 75023 (built 1953) has just passed over Cole viaduct with an Up (northbound) passenger service with three passenger carriages and a brake carriage.

75023 is shown as allocated to Templecombe from September/October 1961 until September/October 1962 and withdrawn in January 1966. This therefore suggests a date range for the photo.
