Description

BR Standard Class 9F No. 92001 (built 1954, with 82F Bath Green Park shedplate) takes a through passenger service of at least seven carriages out of Combe Down Tunnel and down-gradient towards Tucking Mill Viaduct and further on, Midford.

92001 is shown as allocated to Bath Green Park from May/June to October/November 1961 and again from June/July 1962 until the following September/October. This suggests a date range for the image.
