Description

BR Standard Class 9F No. 92245 (built 1958) is seen on the Up Pines Express heading from Combe Down Tunnel into Lyncombe Vale in summer 1962.

92245 is shown as allocated to Bath Green Park from May/June 1962 until the following September/October and this indicates that the photo was probably taken during the last few months of through service operation over the S&D. Through services were diverted as from September 1962.
