Description

Ivatt 2MT Class No. 41243 (built 1949) is heading the 5.30 pm Bournemouth-Templecombe service approaching Creekmoor Halt while Bulleid West Country Class No. 34103 Calstock (built 1950) travels in the other direction with a service from the Wimborne line.

No date is given for the photo but the Wimborne line closed to passengers in May 1964.

41243 is shown as allocated to Bath Green Park from new and then to Templecombe from July/August 1962 until withdrawal in July 1965. 34107 is shown as allocated to Bournemouth from around the end of 1960 and then to Eastleigh from August/September 1964 until withdrawal in September 1965.
