Description

BR Standard Class 5 No. 73051 (built 1954, with 82F Bath Green Park shedplate) rounds the curve approaching France Farm with the Up Pines Express in March 1961. The photographer notes that the image is ‘with smoke’ suggesting that the smoke display has been laid on by request, as was often the case. A member of footplate crew is waving from the cab.
