Description

GWR Collett 0-6-0PT No. 4691 (built Swindon 1945, with 82G shedplate) is heading north west just past the Hammoon road bridge with a milk/passenger service from Bailey Gate having two carriages and one milk tank.

4691 is shown as allocated to Templecombe from January/February 1961 until withdrawal in August /September 1964 so this may provide a date range for the photo.
