Description

BR 4MT Class 4-6-0 locomotive No. 75073 (built 1955, with 82F Bath Green Park shedplate) is seen on a five-carriage passenger service having just passed under the Hammoon road bridge north west of Shillingstone. The consist appears to be a three-carriage set in the middle, another passenger carriage in front and a brake at the rear.

The bridge has been demolished but the trackbed is now part of the North Dorset Trailway.

75073 is shown as being allocated to Bath Green Park from 1957 until moved to Templecombe from November 1962 and was withdrawn in December 1965/January 1966.
