A pair of photos taken in quick succession with a special smoke display provided for the photographer.

BR Standard Class 3 No. 82039 (built Swindon 1955) – with 82G (Templecombe) shedplate – is heading north west just past the Hammoon road bridge with a milk/passenger service from Bailey Gate having two carriages and three milk tanks in 1959.

82039 is shown as being allocated to Templecombe from January/February 1959 until August/September 1960.
