Fowler 4F Class No. 44559 (built 1922), formerly S&D No. 59 and LMS No. 4559, is pictured on an Up goods service passing Masbury in gloomy, wet conditions in 1961.

The train is passing the signal box and the signaller can be seen acknowledging the footplate staff.
