Description

On a dull, misty day, Fowler S&D 7F No. 53806 (built 1925 as S&D No. 86) approaches Masbury summit with a seven-carriage Birmingham-Bournemouth Saturdays-only ‘extra’ service. Reporting code 1O88 is being displayed. No date is given for this image.

53806 is shown as already allocated to Bath Green Park at the time of nationalisation in 1948 and remaining there until withdrawal in January 1964.
