Description
BR Standard Class 9F No. 92233 (built 1958, with 82F Bath Green Park shed plate) in the rock cutting at Masbury summit on what is believed to be a Saturday Bournemouth-Manchester service – the reporting code 1O82 left in place in error was for the 8.25 pm Friday night Bradford-Bournemouth service.
The train has 12 carriages. In the far distance, the upper arm of the co-acting pair of the Masbury Down Home signal can just be seen. 92233 is shown as allocated to Bath Green Park from July 1962 until the following September.
