Description

Great Western Collett 2251 Class No. 3216 (built 1947) is seen heading away from Midford station and viaduct with three-carriage set No. 398 on 16 September 1961. 398 dated back to 1926 and was disbanded during 1961.

3216 is shown as allocated to Templecombe from autumn 1960 until withdrawal in late 1963.
