Description

BR Standard Class 4 No. 75009 (built 1951) and Fowler 4F Class No. 44102 (built 1925) take the 7.00 am Cleethorpes (2.10 pm from Bath) to Exmouth service through Midsomer Norton South station. A reporting number of 1O92 is being displayed.

A Jinty can be seen in the sidings next to a van marked M609750 above which is hand-written ‘T’combe’.

75009 is shown as allocated to Templecombe from September/October 1961 until November 1962. 44422 is shown as allocated to Templecombe from November/December 1960 until November 1964. This therefore suggests a date range for the image; from autumn 1961 up until the through services were diverted in September 1962.
