Description

Fowler 4F Class No. 44102 (built 1925) and BR Standard Class 4 No. 75027 (built 1954) take the 11.12 am Bournemouth West – Sheffield service through Midsomer Norton South. 18 August 1962. Note floral displays for which Midsomer Norton South was well-known.

44102 is shown as already allocated to Templecombe at nationalisation in 1948 then allocated to Bath Green Park in late 1963 prior to withdrawal in September 1964. 75027 is shown as being allocated to Templecombe from February 1960 to November 1962. 75027 was subsequently preserved.
