Description

BR Standard Class 4 No. 75027 (built 1954) and Bulleid West Country Class No. 34047 Callington (built 1946) approaching Midsomer Norton South with the 10.30 am Liverpool & Manchester to Bournemouth service – a reporting code of 1O97 is displayed. Callington lost its streamlined casing in 1958.

75027 is shown as being allocated to Templecombe from February 1960 to November 1962 and 34047 is shown as allocated to Bournemouth from May/June 1959 until withdrawal in June 1967.

75027 has been preserved.
