Description

BR Standard Class 9F No. 92000 (built 1954) heads the 9.35 am (SO) Sheffield to Bournemouth service up-gradient towards the Chilcompton Tunnels. A reporting code disc with 1O93 is being displayed. The train is just short of the Midsomer Norton South Up Distant signal. A Down signal can just be seen in the distance in the high res. image.

On the rear of the train, Fowler 3F Class No. 47465 (built 1927) is banking.

92000 is shown as allocated to Bath Green Park from May/June to September/October 1961. 47465 is shown as already allocated to Bath Green Park upon nationalisation in 1948 and remaining there until withdrawal in June 1963.
