Description
Viewed from outside the station is a timetable board and a warning sign for the then-notorious rail bridge with a clearance of just 10′ 9″. Photo probably taken in spring 1962. Up Starting signal in the background.
The timetable advertises ‘regular excursions each weekday until June 16th 1962 (or until further notice) Poole and Bournemouth’ and likewise to London.
