Description

BR Standard Class 9F No. 92206 (built 1959) – with 82F (Bath Green Park) shedplate – heads the northbound Pines Express of 10 carriages along the sweeping curve near Milldown, north of Blandford.

92206 was allocated to Eastleigh from around the start of 1961 until beyond the end of through services on the S&D so this may provide a date range for the photo.
