Ex-SR U-class 2-6-0 locomotive No. 31795 (allocated to 71A Eastleigh shed) light engine at Branksome triangle, carriage shed to rear or tender, carriage in siding to left labelled for set no. 430 (not listed by Southern Railway Email Group). Monday 23 July 1962.

The loco is going down the now-dismantled east chord of the Branksome Triangle and appears to be waiting for the signal at Bournemouth West Junction to clear.
