Ex-SR rebuilt Bulleid ‘Merchant Navy’ class 4-6-2 locomotive No. 35008 ‘Orient Line’ (allocated to 71B Bournemouth) on a Weymouth to Waterloo passenger train with SR headcode no. 14 (Waterloo & Bournemouth West, train reporting no. 383), passing Branksome station, Branksome signal box adjacent to engine. Saturday 22 July 1961.
