Description

Fowler 2P Class No. 40569 (built 1928) and BR Standard Class 9F No. 92000 (built 1954) on a 12-carriage summer Saturday Up through service just north of Prestleigh viaduct – the end of the viaduct is just visible on the photo.

40569 is shown as already allocated to Bath Green Park upon nationalisation in 1948 and remaining either there or at Templecombe until withdrawal in November 1961. 92000 is shown as allocated to Bath Green Park from May/June to September/October 1961.
