Description

Fowler 2P Class No. 40634 (built 1928) and Bulleid West Country Class No. 34043 Combe Martin (built 1946) on an 11-carriage summer Saturday Up through service just north of Prestleigh viaduct. The train is passing over a cattle creep.

40634 is shown as already allocated to Templecombe upon nationalisation in 1948 and remaining there until withdrawal in May 1962. 34043 was withdrawn in June 1963.
