Ivatt 2MT Class No. 41249 (built 1949) is pictured north of Shillingstone with a 2-carriage northbound passenger service in 1958.

41249 is shown as allocated to Templecombe briefly in 1953 and again from May/June 1965 to December/January 1966. Following a brief period of storage, the locomotive was allocated again to Templecombe from January/February 1966 until withdrawn by 12 March 1966.
