Description

Fowler 4F Class No. 44417 (built 1927) at the platform at Shillingstone with a Down passenger service of four carriages. Note that the loco has no shedplate.

44417 is shown as already allocated to Templecombe at nationalisation in 1948 and remaining there until withdrawn in November 1962.
