Description

Stanier 5MT Class No. 44843 (built Crewe 1944, with 17B Burton shedplate) departs from Shillingstone with an Up passenger service of at least eight carriages. A reporting code is being displayed but the characters are obscured.

44843 is shown as always allocated to depots in the Midlands and the north – Burton from January 1955 to January 1959.
