Description

BR Standard Class 5 No. 73047 (built 1953) takes what appears to be a long passenger service away from Shillingstone up the distinctive gradient in the Sturminster Newton direction. A reporting code of M984 is being displayed.

Allocation reports vary for 73047 but Longworth records the loco as being allocated to Bath Green Park from 1955 until July 1964 and withdrawn later in 1964.
