Description

BR Standard Class 5 No. 73049 (built 1953) is seen south of Shillingstone with an Up passenger service of at least seven carriages.

73049 is shown as allocated to Bath Green Park from 1955-1960 and from June/July 1962 until August-October 1964. Given the 35 mm negative, this photo was probably taken in 1959.
