Description

BR Standard Class 5 No. 73087 Linette (built 1955, with 71A Eastleigh shedplate) stands at Shillingstone’s Down platform with a Down passenger service of four or five carriages in 1957. Meanwhile, BR Standard Class 5 No. 73052 (built 1954) arrives from the single track with an Up service which appears to have at least six carriages. Photo taken in 1957.

The leading carriage of 73087’s train is M 26129 M.

73087 is shown as being allocated or loaned to Bath Green Park every summer from 1956-61.
