Description

Ivatt 2MT Class No. 41248 (built 1949, with 82G Templecombe shedplate) is seen on a three-car Down (Bournemouth-bound) passenger service on the single track south of Templecombe.

The date of the photo will probably be within the range of February 1958 (when recoded to 82G) and around September 1960 (when reallocated).

41248 is shown as allocated to Templecombe from June/July 1953 until autumn 1960. Withdrawn in November 1964.
