Description

Maunsell U Class No. 31632 (built 1931) is seen near Tisbury with a short Up passenger service. Photo taken in 1963. The location appears to be close to Hazeldon farm, west of Tisbury. The colour light signal would then be a replacement for an earlier semaphore distant signal.

31632 is shown as allocated to 72C Yeovil Town from February 1960, recoded to 83E and withdrawn in September 1964.
