Description

BR Standard Class 4 No. 75027 (built 1954, with 82G shedplate) and BR Standard Class 5 No. 73050 (built 1954) pictured north of the Winsor Hill tunnels with an Up (northbound) service in 1961.

75027 is shown as being allocated to Templecombe from February 1960 to November 1962. 75027 was subsequently preserved. 73050 is shown as allocated to Bath Green Park from new until July-August 1962 and from November 1962 until March/April 1964. The SLS data shows the loco as having been withdrawn at that point, then swiftly reinstated at another location.
